Humpin’ Hannah’s – Full-blown party house that welcomes the LGBT community. You can meet trans folks here, but not always.
The atmosphere is absolutely wild, and everyone is drunk out of their senses.
Neurolox Lounge – This venue mostly attracts a cis crowd but it isn’t uncommon to find TGs on the weekends. The staff is really inclusive and accommodating.
The Balcony Club – A gay club that welcomes everyone. You’ll usually find a younger crowd including trans folks who are looking for something casual.
Their drag shows are also really fun with very talented drag kings and queens.
2. LGBT Community Centers
Visiting community centers is always a great way to connect with trans folks.
There’s one in Boise located on North Orchard Street called The Community Center.
They have several different support groups and also organize trans-focused events.
